Sitting at the bottom of the sea, writing a soon to be critically acclaimed poem, Richard the poet fish looks back at his moment of passing. In the meanwhile an underpaid scuba diver makes their way to the bottom of the sea, encountering not only eerie, mysterious sounds, but also a long-lost fisherman that grapples with his life decisions in a limbo-like state.
